Prototype Release

I thought I should actually send aAVis out into the public! How silly of me to forget to do this properly.

Windows Version ( 1.7mb )

Mac Version ( 1.9mb ) - UNTESTED

Remember to read the manual that is provided within the .zip file, and remember it was only a prototype. It is *very* fiddly, and can take a while to get used to. It also has a habit of crashing if you don’t play nice. The Mac version is untested ( as I use a PC ), so if it works, yay!

    hello.

I really would like to test what you’ve build, but none of the release runs on my systems. On a win xp PC, it says : could not find the main class and on a leopard mac the app remains grey and nothing launches.

can you email me a working version ?
do you plan to release full src to allow custom builds ?

this app looks good, let me know if there’s a way to test it

    thanks

    Hello Opti,
Could not find main class eh ?
Hm, I’m not 100% sure on what the problem might be there, but I’ll look into it when I’ve got some time. The Windows version works fine for me in vista ( I’ve heard lots of people have had problems with the Mac version, I personally don’t own one ).

Yeah, I’ll happily release the src one day when I’ve got the time to tidy it. There are parts that are clumsily hacked together, and I think it would be nice to get a chance to tidy it up a bit first. When I do - I’ll blog it here, and probably upload the code onto code.google.com - in case I decide to make modifications in the future…
